We have had some people asking what changes are happening with the office with reports of COVID still in the media. We did work remotely for a home for two months. We have returned to our office and have been working here but have had it closed to the public for precautions. There is no correct or perfect answer for reopening, but we have adopted the following policies to try to keep everyone safe.
1. For renters, we are encouraging everyone to continue to use their tenant portal and do as much online and by phone instead of coming into our office, if possible.
2. If you need to come into our office, we ask that you call and make an appointment to come because we are limiting the number of guests in our office to one person at a time.
(Please do not bring anyone in with you. This includes any children.) We are going to try to sanitize after each guest.
3. Do not come to our office or make an appointment to come into our office if you have a fever, anyone in your home has a fever or if you or your household has been experiencing any flu or COVID like symptoms or have had it in your home within the last 30 days.
4. We have a hand sanitizing station by our front door, please sanitize on your way in.
5. If you need to pay rent, you can still use the online tenant portal or drop it in our drop box located in the front door. We will email you a receipt if it is dropped off. Do not make an appointment to come in and pay rent. Rent can be paid online or dropped in the box.
6. All guests who want to rent a property, our PM assistant is prepared to assist you. She has been actively opening homes to view by appointment after pre-screening. Please make sure that when you make an appointment that you are not bringing any unnecessary guests with you. Also, please do not make an appointment if you have a fever, anyone in your home has a fever or if you or your household has been experiencing any flu or COVID like symptoms or have had it in your home within the last 30 days.
7. All guests who want to buy or sell, our agents are prepared to assist you in a designated area in our front office and are actively showing homes. Our office has been professionally cleaned but we are limiting access to our entire office at this time. No public restrooms are available. Our coffee station for guests has also temporarily been removed for safety reasons.
8. We do have shoe coverings, gloves, sanitizer, and masks to use for our team when showing homes. Please make sure that you express the desire for our agent to wear these at the time that you make your appointment.
